In the heart of Kraków, from May 8th to 12th, 2023, the European Nuclear Young Generation Forum (ENYGF) took place, bringing together a diverse group of nearly 300 participants from 33 different nations across the world. Hosted in the historic buildings of the AGH University of Science and Technology. This was the 9th edition of ENYGF, organized by the Young Generation Forum of the Polish Nuclear Society in collaboration with the European Nuclear Society Young Generation Network. The conference served as a global platform, drawing distinguished experts from organizations such as the Institute of Nuclear Physics, the International Atomic Energy Agency, the Polish Atomic Agency, Nuclear Europe, as well as representatives from key players in the nuclear industry, including Polish Nuclear Power Plants, Edf, Westinghouse, Urenco, and Orlen Synthos Green Energy. Over four engaging days, attendees participated in thought-provoking panel discussions on topics like the role of nuclear energy in the energy transformation, knowledge transfer, nuclear fusion, and legal regulations in the nuclear sector. Interactive workshops covered themes of communication, career development, and nuclear technology advancements. The technical sessions allowed participants to present their research in fields like modeling, equipment design, radiological protection, and nuclear safety. The culmination of the event featured technical tours to the Bronowice Cyclotron Center and the National Synchrotron Radiation Center SOLARIS. The Minister of Climate and Environment lent their honorable patronage to this remarkable gathering, adding a significant seal of recognition to this international affair.
